Ok.  So, not exactly.  

But this pose reminded me of the iconic rock song!  She was sleeping in this position for hours....maybe dreaming of some far off place, or possibly just being owned by one of the Bangles, hearing the classic belted out from the shower every day.  

And then I wondered, "what do cats dream about?

And then I realized that was a pointless pondering.... because the answer is - "whatever they want." 

Ah, the joys of owning a cat. 

Peek-A-Boo Kitty

Jinxie is never shy with me, though always scared of any guests we may have popping in.  If Cody is asleep at the wheel, I know when someone is arriving at our house because she will come booking by me, claws digging in for more speed, and dart under the bed.

Here she is, in her favorite demure hiding spot.

Reflections

And I mean that literally!  Not a resolution or reflection to the past...just the countenance of my fat cat in the mirror.  :)  (Sorry, Jimmy.)  I should put him on a diet, but then he wouldn't sit still for pictures!  I'm kidding, of course, but here are a few of him...and me!  We had fun with the mirrored bedroom closet doors - I caught myself, but kept snapping!  

"Hey, what are you doing, Mom?"

Buddies

I hate to say it, but the cats are much more comfortable now that Ruger is no longer here and chasing them constantly - they are actually getting fatter!  Though they loved the chasing game, I think Jinx is now enjoying the new found friendship between her and Cody... and I think Cody really likes it too.  I find them actually wrestling - which is something he always did with Ruger, but now, over the last few weeks, he is playfully attacking Jinxie - she can be found helpless between his paws...and loving it...on a daily basis now, and it's adorable.  That makes me feel just a little bit better for him.
